Bende Membership & Class Pass Terms and Conditions

Membership weeks and fortnights

If you are a Bende member, you are welcome to join your unlimited classes in any given week. We do not have a standard ‘week’ or ‘fortnight’, as it will depend on your individual preferences. Your ‘week’ begins on the day of your billing cycle. For example, if you pay on a Wednesday, you can attend your allocated classes between Wednesday and Tuesday.

Membership changes

Bende Members are welcome to swap between the Membership options. Simply email hello@bende.com.au to change your Membership. There is a 3 month minimum term for any revised Memberships.

Suspend your Memberships

We don’t want you to be paying for a Membership you’re not getting value out of, as we realise that life can get busy and fabulous holidays get planned. For this reason, you are welcome to pause your membership at any time, for a minimum of 7 days. You may do this once every 3 months with no fees. Additional suspensions will be charged at a non-refundable rate of $5 per week. If you would like to suspend your Membership simply email us with at least 7 days notice from your next scheduled direct debit payment.

Cancel your Membership

Bende doesn’t want to ‘trap’ anyone into long term financial commitment as we understand circumstances change, but we have a minimum 3 month term to allow you see and feel the benefits of regular, ongoing practice before ending your Membership. After this minimum term, simply contact us via email with at least 7 days notice from your next scheduled direct debit payment. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing, and unfortunately we cannot honour in-studio cancellations. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation when it has been completed. Please note, if you do not receive this email within 48 hours, your cancellation request has not been received.

Memberships are paid in advance, so no refunds can be awarded once the transaction has been made if you fail to advise within adequate timeframes.

We do understand that life can be unexpected, so please discuss your situation with us directly if need be.

Membership Payment

When you sign up for a Bende Membership you pay fortnightly via direct debit bank account or credit card. This transaction commences from the day you sign up.

Intro Pass Validity

The introductory offer is for new clients only and can be used at any Bende Studio.

Booking and Cancellation Policy- Members and Class Pass holders

As class sizes are limited, we strongly recommend you pre-book online or via the Bende app to reserve your place.

If you book a class and can’t make it, please log in to change or cancel your booking. For Reformer classes, if you cancel your class within 2 hours of the class time, or do not show up to class, unfortunately we will need to charge you a fee. For Members and Intro Pass holders, this fee is $10. For those with casual or 10 class passes, you will forfeit one class credit.

For Mat Classes, Members and Intro Pass holders may have their booking privileges suspended if they regularly miss/late cancel classes within one hour of the class starting.

Pre-bookings can be made 7 days in advance.

Returns & Refunds

All purchases and direct debit transactions are non-exchangeable, non-refundable or non-transferable. Unfortunately we are not able to refund any client for unused Membership periods or Class Passes.

General Terms

Bende reserves the right to cancel and change teachers, events, classes, workshops and teacher training without prior notice.

Privacy Notice

  1. Description of Service

This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the information and data gathered by Bende (“us”, “we”) when you use this service, how we store your information, information we collect and to the degree your information may be used.

Bende takes your privacy seriously. We do not rent, sell or share your personal information with 3rd parties, except as listed below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and as a registered Bende user, we will attempt to inform you of any material changes by email. Otherwise, please check back frequently on the Bende website for the latest and most updated privacy policy posted here.

Bende provides you with the opportunity to review, remove and modify any personal information that you provided previously under the Data Protection Act 1998, please contact us directly by email to make changes to your personal information. You may also update your personal information by logging into your Bende account and updating your details.

  1. Data Collection & Use

We only collect the personal data you choose to provide us during your registration process. As part of the online registration process in order to use Bende services you need to provide us with your Full Name, Address, Email Address, Phone, Country, State, Postal Code, and Billing information, including credit card information. All data is stored in the United States. You may elect to not provide any of the above info, but you will then not be able to use Bende services or certain features. In the case of Bende studio clients (via Mindbody booking system), we will keep your data unless you request that we delete it via emailing hello@bende.com.au.

  1. Analytics

We may collect and store certain information about your interaction with Bende website and services, including cookies, IP Addresses, browser type, device type, location, Internet service provider (ISP), entry and exit pages, operating systems, time/date stamps, and other related data. Bende uses this information, only to improve the quality of our services and products. If you choose to decline cookies via your browser, you will have some limitations in using Barre Body services.

  1. Email Notices

When you register to use Bende services, your email will automatically be listed in the Bende mailing list. You will receive welcome information, account information, and other marketing related information related to Bende services and the products you viewed and purchased. You may also receive periodic emails from us notifying you of new features, products, titles and other related information for Bende services.

You may choose to opt out of receiving promotional emails from Bende at anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link or emailing hello@bende.com.au.

At anytime if you forget your account information, you may log back onto Bende website or app and click forgot login on the login area screen, a password reset link will be emailed to you with further steps to reset your account info.

  1. Business Transitions

In the event of Bende goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by or with another company, including partial or all assets, any personally identifiable information we have on record will likely be transferred with the transition.

  1. Security

We employ and protect all data with SSL encryption and other security measures to ensure you that your data is protected and safe. However please be advised that while we take extra measures to protect your data and integrity of your information, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent unauthorized access from occurring. Please take the proper steps to maintain the security of your account information. We highly recommend that you set a tough to guess password for your registered account with Bende to ensure others from easily guessing your password.

Changes to our privacy policy

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email.

You have the right to ask us to not process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise that right by contacting us at hello@bende.com.au.
