The Bende Summer Challenge has been designed with heart and soul to make 2018 your best year yet. The Challenge is all about celebrating, nourishing and valuing you. It's a complete, holistic re-set for body, mind and soul.
So, let’s be clear about what this challenge involves. There will be no endless sets of burpees, protein powders made of unpronounceable chemicals or guilt for not looking or being the way you "should."
5 Bende classes per week
We have mindful movement covered (it is our specialty, after all): throughout the challenge you'll complete 5 workouts per week. You can participate in our studios, where you'll have unlimited access to our classes at Bende.
Our expert trainers will be right beside you as you increase your fitness, improve your posture, and create those long, lean muscles that help you feel fabulous, vibrant and proud in your own body.
Our classes, as always, have plenty of options so you can focus on your personal goals, work within your limits and take it at your own pace. Whether you’ve been practicing at Bende for months or are just thinking about exercise after a little too much time off, we have an option for you.

What’s more, we’re not just going to tell you to “eat clean” and send you off to the nearest health food aisle. Oh no. We are well aware of all contradictory advice and super-foody, dehydrated, activated, alkalinated confusion out there when it comes to food. So, we've pared it right back and sought help from someone who knows the science – our friend and expert naturopath Polly Rea of Feeling Dandy, who has done all the research and planning for you. For the challenge, we are sharing a full meal plan, complete with recipes and shopping lists, so you can do less thinking and more eating.
Weekly Mindfulness Meditations
By now, we all know that wellbeing isn't just about physical fitness. Unless you've been living under an wifi-free rock (which sounds quite nice, actually), you will no doubt have heard of #meditation and #mindfulness. You’d be forgiven for feeling like it's all a bit of a fad. But, the results are proven: meditation works (have a read of this article).
Included in your Summer Challenge package will be access to four exclusive guided meditations by our delightful Danyah Preston of The Mellow Mind,
which will help you explore mindfulness meditation in an accessible way.
You’ll be given tools to use in your day-to-day to cultivate more presence, calm and self-love. If you're already meditator, you know what we're talking about (and can simply bask in a few more guided beauties to add to your repertoire), and if you're new to all of this, you are in for such a treat.

And of course, you'll be hearing from us regularly throughout the challenge - we'll be sending you emails packed to the brim with as much inspiration, love and support we can muster, including tips and tricks from our super talented team of teachers (who – as well as being instructors – have a few hidden talents up their sleeves that they’ve kindly shared with us).
You'll also have access to an exclusive member group on Facebook where you can ask our expert teachers your questions, share inspiration and progress with others in the program, and be supported by our challenge community who will be right by your side every step of the way.
